Stressing the importance of questions, the JSE allows you to build your knowledge through private tutorials on the Jewish topic of your choice - no topic is taboo, and every question is a good one. You’ll see us in coffeeshops and student centers on campus, talking about Torah, ethics and life, and giving each student a personal, individual take on your learning. No matter what is on your mind, we are there for you, from the Hebrew alphabet to the Torah’s view on relationships.
Choose from eight tantalizing Jewish learning options – included Mysticism Demystified, The Examined Religion, and Talmudic Twisters, to name a few.
B.A.R. sessions are scheduled in half hour weekly slots. The learning is very discussion oriented and encourages questions and critical examination of the material being studied. No topics are off-limits and ANY questions, topics and discussions are welcome.
What’s more, signing up is easy. Rabbi Aaron (or Sara, for all you gals) is available weekday afternoons on campus; simply book your weekly slot, select your order from the BAR Menu, and get started exploring the depths of your heritage in a language that speaks to you!
