Chanukah is everybody’s favorite holiday, but it’s not only about the food, it’s about giving… So come celebrate, have fun, & do some giving! (See the facebook event at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=177817198911932)

We’ll be: making chanukah gifts & cards for seriously ill children in Seattle (through Chai Lifeline & JFS), and writing letters of encouragement & appreciation to Israeli soldiers (for “Thank Israeli Soldiers,” an amazing nonprofit organization that sends Israeli soldiers care-packages and letters) They sacrifice their early adult years and put themselves in the line of fire to protect our homeland and all Jewry.

Ways to give: 1. Donate a gift card for a child (the organizations we’ll be sending them through prefers gift cards over toys so that families can feel like they’re buying their own presents)
2. Give one of the needed items for a care package*
3. Give a monetary gift which will be used to buy care package items, or as a do
4. Donate
*contact us for details. items can include (new): gloves, hats, socks, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, boxers, tshirts, flashlights

- Menorah lighting

- LATKES! (with applesauce & sour cream of course), DONUTS! Chocolate gelt! Along with baked ziti, salads, and more :)

- Games! & Raffle to win an ITunes gift card!
